For Lindsay - I hope I can always be there when you need me. But, these songs are a backup plan. These are songs to bring you my presence when you cannot sleep and I cannot seem to rouse myself enough to truly be with you. I hope they bring you comfort and - eventually - you can surrender to rest.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM:

Sometimes, the nighttime is cruel and we need the presence of a loved one to comfort us. Whether it's anxiety, insomnia or a body that fights against us, there are nights where our minds and bodies refuse to give in. Sometimes, loved ones aren't available (physically or cognitively). I hope these songs can help anyone that needs peace and surrender late in the night when they feel most alone.
